As a program, the Ontario Mariners can open doors to both scholarship and pro-draft opportunities.
However, it is only through the diligent and dedicated efforts of our athletes both on and off the playing field that we can succeed in achieving these goals.
The athlete must devote himself to his studies as well as his athletic development programs we provide for him; to do anything less will result in his failing to achieve the desired results.
More than 85% of our athletes have been offered or accepted athletic/academic scholarships to U.S. universities or colleges during the past 5 years.

The Ontario Mariners believe education comes first. We instruct our players and their parents to do whatever they can to ensure they maintain high marks and above-average academic standards.
While on the road, Mariners must participate in supervised mandatory study periods. During the off season we do not wish to have our players sacrifice their school assignments or study time in order to attend a scheduled practice or game. All of our students must maintain an average of over 70% in their core subjects. |
